Student Board of Education Member

At last night's Board of Education meeting, senior Brooke Walling officially began her role as the first-ever ex officio student member of the Mattituck-Cutchogue Board of Education. Joining her in leadership on a rotating schedule is junior Laurel Richards and senior Estefani Gomez, who will serve as alternate during the 2025-2026 school year. Brooke, Laurel or Estefani will deliver a student report at each meeting. "We believe your fresh perspective and student voice will bring a valuable new dimension to the board", Superintendent Petretti said at the meeting.
