According to ESSA, each parent whose child attends school receiving Title I funds has the right to know the academic qualifications of his/her child’s teachers.
This is to inform you that all teachers in the Mattituck-Cutchogue UFSD meet the standards for highly qualified professionals as defined by federal legislation. All of the teachers at Cutchogue East Elementary School have met State qualification and licensing criteria for the grade levels and subject areas in which they provide instruction. You are, however, entitled to request specific information as to the qualifications of your child’s teachers and may forward any questions to the building principal or district office administration.
