“Congratulations to these incredibly accomplished and well-rounded students,” said Superintendent Petretti. “Their hard work, dedication, and leadership have already set them apart, and I have no doubt their future accomplishments will continue to inspire.”
Principal Burke echoed the praise, saying, “We are immensely proud of Colin and Georgia for earning this well-deserved honor. Their commitment to academic excellence and their involvement in our school community truly exemplify what it means to be a Mattituck student demonstrating all of the finest qualities of T.U.C.K.E.R. In addition to achieving top academic honors, both Colin and Georgia have made significant contributions to school life through extracurricular involvement and leadership.

Colin plans to pursue a degree in Economics and will be finalizing his college commitment soon.
Salutatorian Georgia Buckley has also demonstrated remarkable leadership and talent. She serves on the Executive Board of the National Honor Society, is President of both the National Art Honor Society and the Art Portfolio Club and is an active member of the Botany Club. A standout athlete, Georgia is captain of both the Varsity Cross Country and Varsity Spring Track teams and manages the Girls Varsity Basketball team. She was selected to participate in the prestigious American Legion Auxiliary Empire Girls State.
